Teasc-Binn
The very small label :-)
Hello and welcome to the site of Teasc-Binn.
Maybe a short explanation of the name of the site and the label. Both words “teasc” and “binn” are Irish (Gaelic)
“Teasc” as a noun means disc or discus; “binn” as an adjective has two meanings: sweet or melodious.
What words would fit better as a description of a music label!
My aim was at the time to create a label that together with musicians would work on a project, everyone bringing in its love for music, knowledge and time to create CDs (and now downloadable music) off the beaten tracks.
Unfortunately the Teasc-Binn experiment did not have the success that I wished it had, nevertheless one very nice album was the result of this experiment: Danza de Diciembre with José Luis Merlin (guitar) and Etienne Plasman (flute)
